### **Do I have to add every subreddit by hand?**

Almost never. When you sign up, Postpone adds every subreddit your connected account has already posted to, and any new one is added automatically the first time you schedule a post to it. The list builds itself out of what you actually do.

Adding subreddits manually is there for the ones you have not posted to yet: click Add Subreddits and paste a list, one per line or comma separated, marking them favorite or applying a label as they go in.

### **What are subreddit labels actually for?**

Bulk scheduling, mostly. A label groups subreddits into a category with a color of its own, and the Use a Label dropdown on the Schedule a Post page then adds a submission for every subreddit carrying that label in one click.

The groupings that earn their keep describe how you post rather than what the community is about: submission frequency (daily, weekly, bi-weekly), whether self-promotion is allowed, content type, and a warning label for the communities that have banned you or given you trouble.

### **Which post settings can I save per subreddit?**

Enough that a repeat post fills itself in. Each subreddit holds a default flair, a title prefix or suffix, and a default comment, so a community that wants "\[OC]" in the title or a source link in the first comment gets it every time without you remembering.

Those sit on top of your account-wide Reddit defaults, which cover post type, NSFW and spoiler flags, upload destination and the repost protection interval. Everything is still editable on the individual post before you schedule it.

### **What happens when a subreddit and my Reddit account both have a schedule?**

The subreddit's schedule wins. The first subreddit you add to a post sets its date: if that subreddit has a custom schedule, Postpone takes the next open slot from it, and only falls back to the Reddit account's own schedule when it has none.

Every subreddit added after that is spaced 20 minutes behind the one before it, unless it has a schedule of its own, in which case that schedule decides. The spacing is deliberate — Reddit reads a burst of submissions at the same moment as spam.

### **Can I tell which subreddits need verification before I post?**

Yes, and you can track how far along you are with each. Some subreddits will not accept a submission until the account is verified with their moderators, which is a separate process outside Postpone. The Subreddit Manager flags which of your communities require it and lets you record your status against each one, so you stop scheduling into subreddits that are going to reject the post. You can message a subreddit's moderators straight from its page when it is time to start.

### **What can I see about a subreddit without leaving Postpone?**

Subscriber count, description, rules, verification requirements and suggested posting times, plus your own record there: the posts you have scheduled to it, the ones you have already submitted, and how they did.

That second half is the reason to keep the list tidy. A page showing both what a community expects and how your posts have actually performed in it answers whether to keep posting there better than either half does alone.

### **Can I give a teammate the subreddit list without giving them everything?**

Yes, a teammate can be given the subreddit list and nothing else. Subreddit Manager is a permission of its own, so a team member can be given access to your subreddit lists, notes and settings without access to analytics, the inbox, post tags or content feeds. Permissions are set when you invite somebody and can be changed at any point afterwards.
